Tell Me Something Tuesday is a weekly discussion post where bloggers discuss a wide range of topics from books and blogging to life in general. Weigh in and join the conversation by adding your thoughts in the comments. If you want to do your own post, grab the question and answer it on your blog. Feel free to leave your links in the comments if you are participating.

Share some of your favorite books written by POC authors.

Alyssa Cole jumps out before me even starting, mostly cos I recently read one of hers :D She writes great romances, I love that they are set elsewhere too. We so need that. Not the same old same old

And Nalini Singh, omg, she is the reason I can still read PNR. She is a romance GODDESS

I have a stormy relationship with NK Jemisin, I adore her books, I hate her books. The middle ground is hard to find. But her first book, Hundred thousand Kingdoms, damn, so good.

Jenny Han, I mean come on, PS, I still love you, is adorbs

Jeannie Lin, awwww, I mean long ago China, damn, I need to get back to those

There are more, but like always, I only remember by looking at good old goodreads, how else could I remember which books I liked ;) It also feels like I have written this post before and mentioned the same people, hmm. Well, to be mentioned I have to have liked at least two books, so there are others I want to mention, I just need to hurry up and read more books.

  1. Ohh I love this topic. I haven't read any books by Alyssa Cole, I think I should remedy that.

I also read NK Jemisin's Inheritance book 1, and enjoyed it for the most part. Looking forward to continuing on with that series.

  2. I still have to write my post but Elizabeth Acevedo has been a hit for me so far. Brandy Colbert is another - both YA though.

And I discovered a few new authors last year.

  7. I've only read Alyssa Cole's historicals, but I loved them. Yes, to Nalini Singh for sure. And, Jeannie Lin is the reason I got back into historical romance. Glad to see she made your list.
