What are your favorite tips and/or tools to help keep your blogging (or real life) organized?
Ha, tips or tools. Welcome to organized chaos. I am writing this, as I always write my blogposts, while I watch tv. I have had Luci on my lap, as I have every night, and now I finally are getting to something. Now before bed I need to try to answer comments, go commenting, write a review etc.
I have no tips, I take it as it come. I read a book, I try to write a review as fast as I can. I schedule it when I have time. I as you have seen blog while I catch up on shows,
Ok, No pressure. HAVE FUN! Maybe that can be my tip, when you get too much pressure, when you forget that this is fun, then you loose interest.
Real life organized then, I try, I like to be organized, but then everyone else needs to be organized too
I tend to do everything at the last minute but that just seems to be how I operate.
ReplyDeleteI can relate
DeleteI like your style Blodeuedd :). I used to be sooooo organized i'd have almost a month of posts formatted and only waiting for a small amount of content to post them. Then covid hit, my daughter died, my husband is going downhill fast and I just can't seem to put one foot in front of the other some days. So now I also am a seat of my pants blogger. xo
ReplyDeleteIt has been a hard year for you, hugs!
DeleteYes organized chaos over here too!
ReplyDeleteWohoo
DeleteThis is me lol
ReplyDeleteBack in the day, I had a very loose plan - just jotting a meme or review date down but I've never been big on organizing.

When I had a million review books I had to organize more, but now, eh
DeleteOh yeah, writing a review as soon as possible after you finish the book does the trick. The longer you leave it the harder to dredge the enthusiasm 🤣 I also have a Spotify playlist "Blogging" with lots of gaming soundtracks. It helps me not to lose concentration while writing a post.
ReplyDeleteOhh, intriguing! I like that. But then the sound of tv is my companion and then I stop writing for 15 min and stare, and then I write more, lol
DeleteHaha! You are chaos and I am order! It all works. Having fun is great advice!!
ReplyDeleteIt is all what matter
DeleteSame, girl. Same. Mostly, I do it when I have the energy and motivation to write a review or bookish thoughts.
ReplyDeleteIt's just how we roll
DeleteYeah I'm not organized at all...
ReplyDelete;)
DeleteTwins! I read a book and try to write a review! I'm not very organized. I have so much to do besides blogging and like you said this is supposed to be fun. I try not to stress over the many review copies I have giving me the evil eye right now, lol! :)
ReplyDeleteOh that evil eye ;) I used to be all OMG, all had to be reviwed on the day they came out, but I have calmned down
DeleteI used to keep notes, and the whole nine yards. Over the years though, with life getting busier, I've more or less started winging a lot more of it, lol. One thing I do still keep is a spreadsheet of my new book arrivals and their release dates so I know when to read them and schedule reviews.
ReplyDeleteWhen I get a book, only audio these days, I do put it down in my calender. I can move the dates around but they are there, they are remembered
DeleteI think it is a big deal to remember to just have fun. Great tip.
ReplyDeleteYes :D
DeleteI'm the exact opposite LOL. I need order, silence. But "have fun" is the best advice, because odd as it might seem, even I, with all my obsessive planning, do have fun!
ReplyDeleteI would love to sit down and get it done, I should, I really should do it like that
