Blogger Burnout Update

Update since May. I still want to blog, but I have learned to (trying my best!!) not to stress things. I notice a lot that I haven¨t visited a single blog in 2 weeks, ooops. So I try my my best.

I notice a lot that I have not replied on my own blog for 2 weeks, ooops. But that happens.

I think that the best thing I can do is still just try and do it to keep it fun. No pressure, no stress. WAY less review books. WAY!

One thing I want to try do do better though is write reviews at once at goodreads as I used to. Yeah, not so good when you are a week late and all the feels are good.

And as some might have noticed. Re reading makes me happy so I am doing Heartstrikers again . Because it is hard to sit down and read an actual books. Dang book burnout

So if anyone has noticed that sometimes I disappear, even though I still blog, well I am still here. I just take it more slowly

  2. Burnout is a serious thing. I think you're being super smart to just take it easy and do what you can.

    Take care of yourself, first!

    1. It did take the joy out of reading, reviewing and blogging so I had to slow down

  3. All the best and exactly just as you say - and there is nothing like a good reread to savour the books that really grip us.

  9. I'm clearly in the same spot since I am commenting on months old posts right now lol
I still want to blog but the passion for it just isn't there anymore.
I pretty much stopped taking arc's a few years ago and read sooooooooo much slower so that doesn't help matters.
Yet, I always come back to it so I guess it's not time to quit yet.
Do whatever works for you and don't stress. We've been at it a long time. We aren't going to be at the same level as 10 years ago and life has changed for most of us.

    1. Oh I just give up if I am too behind and delete those posts. If I can not see them they are not there ;)
Same, the passion is gone. I read slower. By ARCs
But yes we are still here, if that works for us then that is good

  10. Something's gotta give is something my gran used to say and she's right. Do what you can and with this being a hobby, do what makes it fun and not work. :)
