Oh yes, it was another boring one. How do I pick these? I try my best. I take the lesser known, many times based on a book and I watch them. It usually takes me a couple of mornings as that is when I watch.

A rich man gets a new wife since he wants a child. He then wants their portrait painted. And his wife hooks up with the painter.

A servant is in love with a man dealing in tulips. The whole town is tulip crazy.

I do not get how the woman and the painter fell in love. I'd say the best acting was from Holiday Grainger who played Maria, the servant. And of course Christoph Walz is always good.

I can not recommend it. But hey good for a rainy day.

  1. I like the sound of that so I'm disappointed to see it's boring.

  2. I've never heard of this movie but it's not one that I would have watched.

  3. Ooh Alicia Vikander huh? Starting to see her in lots of stuff.

  4. I am sorry to hear that this one was boring for you. Hate those.

  5. Bummer! The trailer made it look so intense!

  6. Thanks for the warning, I don't need boring movies these days.

  7. I didn't know about it but I'll pass if so

  8. It sounds good, too bad it was boring.

  9. I don't watch a lot of movies or TV but I will be sure to skip this one. Sounds a bit odd.
