November 27th: Do You Procrastinate Writing Reviews?
No, not really. I have to write them as fast as possible to catch the feelings in my brain and heart. Now I usually end up waiting a day (not that I want to), but for lack of time. But on a good day I finish a book and write it that evening :)
Wow...this was short.
S meeting someone she has seen on telly and we ending up in the paper ;)

Years and years ago when I reviewed, it had to be done right away. Then I started reviewing for 3 different sites, plus I was reading for fun. You can imagine that my worlds began to spin out of control(lol) My reviews started getting further and further apart, and sometimes I couldn't find my notes(lol) Now I strictly do interviews so I stay out of trouble. Hugs...RO
ReplyDeleteInterviews are more work in my opinion :D I could not do it. I will stick with my reviews, lol
DeleteI'm not sure procrastinate is the right word but sometimes it does take me a little while to find time to write something up.
ReplyDeleteIt's more with other things online I procrastinate
DeleteI'm like you Blodeuedd I've got to write it right then, my memory isn't what it use to be.
ReplyDeleteBest way to do it
DeleteI do it as soon as possible because I have a really bad memory
ReplyDeleteYou are not alone :=D
DeleteIt's a good policy to write your review right away but not always a doable option so yeah, I sometimes procrastinate. Your daughter is adorable btw!
ReplyDeleteTHank you!
DeleteOH! SO CUTE!! Love the photo.
ReplyDeleteI usually take a lot of notes when reading, so even if I review a week or three later, I have most of the info right there. But sometimes I finish a book and have to write the review for the next day! OOPS!
She always does this dance when she see the figure :)
DeleteI so can not take notes. But yes that would sure make it easier
Aww that picture is so cute.
ReplyDeleteI usually take notes while I'm reading the book so I don't forget anything I wanted to add to the review.
I am sadly not a note person
DeleteI usually write my reviews the next day because I am always finishing books at night before bed, I try not to let them pile up. Last week I did and I have to write seven this week, I have three left to do.
ReplyDeleteYikes 7! I feel for you
DeleteSometimes I feel like procrastinating, but given the volume I read, I know if I slack I will just fall even more behind!

I hate when I suddenly have 3 to do. It happens when I finish a print and audio and then finish another audio before those earlier are written
DeleteI often wait weeks to write my review. It's not the best way to do things. Thanks for sharing the picture!
ReplyDeleteWeeks! wow
DeleteI write mine either that day or within the next few days so I don't forget how I felt even if I remember the facts I want to put in the review.
ReplyDeleteOh cute pic of the kiddo being a fangirl. :)
It is so easy to forget so fast is good
Delete;)
I have to write mine pretty straight away, like yourself I want to strike while the book is "still with me".
ReplyDeleteEven 2 days after those first feelings are gone for me
DeleteI try to write within a 24 hour window!
ReplyDeleteAnd the newspaper???? SO COOL!
:D
